70,000,000 Members

Sorry I haven't been on in a while, I have to help my grandma do her groceries and weed her garden since she is a little disabled. Anyway, We finally reached over 70,000,000 members and as usual, there were some free things involoved. Here is a picture of all the things every member should have gotten in their suite:



Honestly, I am not impressed. The shirt and pants are...not something I would wear, although I like the shoes and I am ok with the dress. There was no letter from Stardoll or anything like a celebration. Come on! What happened to the Stardoll that had huge celebrations like the lottery dresses giveaway or some 50% more Stardollars?!

I would just like to appologise for my absence in posting. A family emergency came up recently, and I was unable to get online from my Aunt's house. I would like everyone to know I am back and looking forward to continue posting!

SOME Improvments

As I was lolly-gagging around Stardoll as I normally do when I am bored and it's storming outside, I saw twwo improvements to the new Stardoll. Here they are:



You see, it says "Show More" and when you click that, you have 33 Best Friends! Haha, I have more than those on my list, but I was updating it. I don't know if the non-superstars get 33 Best Friends though...




The visitor section ALSO has a little thing that say show more. I didn't count how many visitors it shows when you click that, but it showed alot.

Makeover Updates!

Looks like we might be getting some of our 'Fix Stardoll' wishes after all..

Makeover...

It upsets us all. Sign the petition 3mmag9 posted below this post. We want old Stardoll back. This new thing is making people leave. I am going to post reasons to hate this alien site.
1. The guestbook is WAY too small and it should have its own page.
2. You don't get notified when someone replies to your guestbook comment.
3. The faces for the club discussions look like purple Doras.
4. There are only 3 different backgrounds for posting in clubs and they're all ugly.
5. The color scheme is kind of ugly, I'd rather stick with yellow-gold and pink.
6. You only get 6 best friends.
7. Mostly everything on your page is in all CAPS and it looks stupid.
8. You don't get a big picture of your face on your profile.
9. The broadcast is barely seen.
10. Chat is really messed up, the old Stardoll chat was better.
11. It doesn't show your pending requests you sent or when someone accepts/declines you.
12. It doesn't show the daily Covergirl on the front page of the site.
13. The new Starpoint system is weird and the SP symbol looks stupid.
14. SOME of the sceneries look different when you save them than when you are making them.
15. Starblog is hidden. It SHOULD be on your profile page like it used to be.
16. You can't change colors on your presentation.
17. Putting pictures on your presentation does not exist anymore because it does not even work. I tried twice.

I came up with 17 reasons really fast without even looking! Ugh, if you have any more reasons, please post them in the comments. I do NOT like this.

Hate comments from stardoll users about the new makeover

There are MANY hate comments users have posted about the new makover on the new Official Stardoll Blog; www.stardollblog.com/ and here is a picture of just some of the comments!

I was reading through the comments, I read about 2O from the bottom, and I only found one person who was sort of alright with the makeover!

Cheaters on the catwalk?

Below, I was looking at the catwalk for today and manu.bp came 2nd AND 8th place. The same with Dominika23. She came 1st AND 10th place. Is Stardoll allowed to do that? Those two place could have been easily taken by someone else! I don't think this is fair!

New Starpoints System!

Hey girls,

I happened to click on my Starpoints and found a whole new system.

Instead of telling you how many you have until your next reward there's a bar that fills up and shows you how close you are. According to it, I pretty close to 5,500 SP. I didn't know I was that close. [x I'm excited for my Rewards package though, It's gonna be good!

Safety Precautions

Stardoll may seem very scary when it comes to scammers and hackers, but there are many ways to avoid it.

Tips to avoid scamming:
-Never go first unless the other trader has reliable references and has never been on a scamming list before.
-Always have references.
-If someone is selling something for a low price (not in Starbazaar) and it seems to good to be true, it probably is.
-Always make sure you know exactly how the trade/sale is going to take place so you don't have any issues.
-Make sure no one is on your page before you trade/sell.
-Hide the item you are going to trade/sell.


Tips to avoid hacking:
-NEVER give your password away. Trust no one. You never know who could end up with it.
-Don't fall for those "change your e-mail to get 100000000sd" lies. They get your password through the e-mail you change it to.
-Try to be careful when accepting requests because of the whole virus thing. (Ask poohg_1993 for ideas to not get a virus from friend requests.)
-Have a nice long password no one could easily guess and make sure you have it written down and hidden somewhere safe.
-Don't ever go to any websites that seem suspicious. NEVER "log in" to somewhere other than Stardoll. Places like Piczo and some blogs have a screeshot of Stardoll's log-in page with a comment box hidden underneath it.

Room Wars! What do you think?

Hello everyone!
Today is our first edition of "Room Wars." Room wars is a post in which we feature two rooms made by different members and vote on which looks better!
Featured today are two girls with similar styles but different personalities. They have both been members for a long time and have made their mark on Stardoll with their beautiful suites.

Anyways, it was very hard for me to pick the two rooms to be featured in this post. All of their rooms are amazing, but I picked the following two because they were the most similar rooms they made.



Suzyborba:


I love this room because it features different prints throughout that come together to make the room look fabulous! Also, it shows the true talent and creativity that she has.


Yosyo1:


This is also another one of my favorite rooms because it is classy and elegant yet beautiful. It is not overdone or underdone, she used her elements to make the room just right!

Hello Girls,

I have some news to share.(:

Since the makeover happened, when you win CG you no longer get a Ribbon, you get a Trophy. & today's winner came just in time to be the first person for a trophy. I would've liked to see a better looking medoll up there though, the Top 5 isn't that great today :/

How does everyone like the makeover? It's different but, everyone needs to stop complaining most of us were anxious for the change, am I right? (;

Everyone hates the change?

Ugh..
The 'makeover' is complete. I went online to see a whole new format of Stardoll and I was so surprised. NOTHING is the same. Its so confusing just to maneuver around the website and I feel overwhelmed. I talked to a friend through the new chat system and she agrees that the website is messed up. Is this how we are going to feel forever? Do you think we will eventually get used to it?
I think that I speak for alot of people on Stardoll when I say that even though this is new to us now, I am sure we will get used to it and eventually enjoy the change.
Anyways, I think that Stardoll should have at least made a 'How-to' video, or some informative part of the website we can go to, to learn where things are or tell us how they work...

FORGET MY LAST POST

Oh my gosh! Forget my last post! Abercrombie3434 told me how to get to Stardoll if that happened to you AND THE MAKEOVER IS COMPLETE! Unfortunately, I'm not sure I like it as much as the old Stardoll...anyway, you saw it first here!



It's alot more...confusing. It's too bad the website Abercrombie3434 told me about stopped working and logged me out and everyone else I was talking to. But I got some good pictures!
